The Colt "Ace" resulted of
researches started in 1915, to develop a .22 caliber pistol. The main goal was to offer a
cheap caliber handgun that includes the maximum of parts of the 1911 model. The first Colt
"Ace" appeared on the market in 1930. It remained into production until 1941
(assembled until 1947). The mechanism was adapted to function as a blow-back
principle. The pistol was produced at some 10,500 copies. To get more information, refer
